Flamstead Blacks – New season starts !

Today marked the start of the new season for Flamstead Blacks.

Having come third last season they are looking to improve on their position this season. A new player joins them, Clare, although it seems like she has already been on the team for years!

Sadly Emma G has been told by her physio not to play for 6 weeks but she showed her dedicated and loyalty to the team by coming along to support today giving some very vocal encouragement!

A good start today where despite injury and sickness they turned out a solid team of 7 and gained a convincing win against Kodak Bears end score of 35 – 14. Well done team!

Looking forward to some other good games in the forth coming season.

Nicola Jones has kindly offered to create and maintain a Flamstead Netball Facebook page (just another attempt to get me back on Facebook I’m sure!). So look out for this.
