Flamstead Blacks v Dacorum Ladies.

Another new line up, with Jenny & Katie B playing their first game with us. Catherine – GS, Jenny GA, Bedders – WA, Katie B – C, Wellsie – WD, Crippsy GD and Louise GK.

The first quarter ended with the score being 10-9 in our favour despite having a 7 goal lead at the start! Dacorum Ladies seemed to settle down to some consistant play.

By the end of the 2nd quarter we had been overtaken by 2 (18-20). Despite some good holding and shooting, we began to loose sight of winning as the score was 22 – 32 at the end of the 3rd quarter. 

The game ended, thankfully without any injuries ,as we didn’t have a sub, with the score of 28 – 39 to Dacorum Ladies. They were a nice team who played well together.

Well done to Jenny & Katie who played well in their debut matches, may they have many more ahead of them !

All players are going to take it in turns to write a short match report after each game so look out for some brilliant reports!!
